On a personal note:
I have to give a thumbs up to the Indiana BMV. I heard about the great customer service from others, but my skepticism couldn't accept that possibility until last night. I went to the South Bend Indiana BMV to renew my license and I was overwhelmed with efficiency, kindness and a different type of attitude.
The attitude surprised me! I'm used to a, "Hey don't bother me... I'm a government employee and I'm doing you a favor just to speak to you" type of response. Instead, I felt like the person actually cared that I stepped through the door and that I help to pay her wages for the week. She heard my concerns and addressed them in a quick and efficient manner. I thought-well it just might be one employee, however every contact had the same type of work ethic. Sometimes I can be very critical of the government, so I want to surprise some people by saying--
A big thumbs up to the BMV!
