Walorski running for Congress

Thought I would share this information with anyone in the Great State of Indiana. Jackie Walorski has decided to run for Congress. I and many others believe that Jackie Walorski will be a great representative for the district and I hope that you will help her to the Capital building in D.C.

Greetings!

I appreciate your continued interest and support of me as an Indiana State Representative. Over the past five years, I have worked tirelessly to represent my constituents (and even those who can't vote for me!), on issues that are important to Northern Indiana. I have voted to have a balanced State budget every year without raising taxes, voted to cut the size of State Government, fought for legislation that allowed businesses to relocate to Indiana and allow the businesses here to flourish with less government regulation. As a legislator, many of you know I am a co-author of the Voter ID bill to protect the integrity of the voting system and I also co-authored the lifetime handgun permit, which allows Hoosiers to protect themselves and their homes.

Over the past seven months, I, like many of you, have become increasingly worried about the direction our country is going under the reign of Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi. We're watching an unprecedented growth of the Federal Government happen right before our very eyes. This government now has its hands in the US Banking Industry, US Auto Industry and YOUR pockets as well. For every job the Federal Government provides...YOU are paying for it, not them. We've seen their bailouts and stimulus plans fail and now they are talking of another stimulus plan, which equates into billions, if not trillions of our tax dollars frivolously spent on programs that are not working. Our state has benefited MORE from the $8 billion dollars of PRIVATE investment that has come in, from the outside, to create thousands of new jobs, than the millions of dollars that have come to our State via the Federal Government, which is AGAIN all of our hard-earned tax dollars. Now we see Congress and the US Senate ready to roll out a Government Health Care Plan and Cap and Trade which will cripple Indiana taxpayers.

I can no longer stand by, from a safe, political seat, and watch Congress and this Administration put our families and jobs at further risk. It is for all of these reasons that I am filing a committee to run for Congress. I have only been a successful legislator because of you and you know that no one will work harder to produce jobs and cut taxes than me....so I wanted to give you a "heads up", BEFORE the media takes this info and spins it around tomorrow. I want to continue to fight for our families, our jobs and our economy. I want to take on Obama and Pelosi, on behalf of the Hoosiers of the 2nd Congressional District.

I have put my foot in front of my "freight trains" over the past five years and have been successful in winning for "people", not for political parties. I cannot stand by and watch the greatest country on the face of the earth suffer at the hands of an extremely liberal ideology. We need common sense, Hoosier problem-solving abilities in Washington, DC. I am ready to bring "balance" back to the decision making ability of Nancy Pelosi. I am proud to be an American, and a Hoosier and would be proud to have your support. This is our country, let's fight together to take it back.
