In November, 4 counties in northern IN will hold a special election that will raise our taxes and not give any additional benefits, regarding the South Shore. Of the 4 counties, St Joe is the only county holding this election at a cost of around $40,000! The other counties can't afford to hold the election. So WHY are we in SJC having it? It was highly suggested by Commissioner Andy Kostielney that we contact the other commissioners and tell them no on the tax.
