Only God can create a show like that! The bright colors mixed in with a few clouds, creating a display of art worth more than all the paintings ever sketched on canvass. Unfortunately, it lasts for only a few moments, unfortunately it appears to a few us at a time,however each time we see something like this, our souls have to pause and give glory to our creator.
A terrible thought came over me as I slumbered into my car to go to work,it said,"...it's just another day". However, God displayed "manna" to me this morning. He set my soul on the right path. He knew what my heart needed and as a true God of surprises he gave me a wonderful sunrise that touched my soul. How could I say that any day is "just another" day.
I have to admit that my mind wanders to the political and cultural war that shapes America right now. We see a lunatic in Iran trying to obtain nuclear weapons, Russia is a dominant force again, and our beloved country continues to practice it's assault on the unborn. However, with all of the turmoil that our world faces we can rest on one thing. God, is in control of it all!
I could go on, however the following verse (s) states it like like a work of art. I hope you give glory to our creator today!
Psalm 138 (New International Version)
Psalm 138
Of David.
1 I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart;before the "gods" I will sing your praise.
2 I will bow down toward your holy temple
and will praise your name
for your love and your faithfulness,
for you have exalted above all things
your name and your word.
3 When I called, you answered me;
you made me bold and stouthearted.
4 May all the kings of the earth praise you, O LORD,
when they hear the words of your mouth.
5 May they sing of the ways of the LORD,
for the glory of the LORD is great.
6 Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly,
but the proud he knows from afar.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life;
you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes,
with your right hand you save me.
8 The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me;
your love, O LORD, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands.
