Niece of Martin Luther King to Speak at Annual Dinner
Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be the keynote speaker at the 18th Annual "Life is Precious" Dinner to be held Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Century Center in South Bend. A victim of abortion, Dr. King now devotes her life to educating people about the tragedy of abortion, especially its impact on the African American community. For reservations, or for information about program advertising, dinner sponsorship, or hosting a table, contact the Right to Life office at 232-5433. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to finance educational media campaigns in St. Joseph County.
